Information pursuant to Articles 13 and 14, GDPR 679/2016 (General Data Protection Regulation)

Dear User, this constitutes the information we are providing you with pursuant to the European Data Protection Regulation EU Reg. no. 679/2016 of 27 April 2016 applicable from 25 May 2018 (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR) in relation to the processing of your personal data (hereinafter, the “Personal Data”) carried out in connection with your navigation on the website (hereinafter, the “Site”). The data controller of your personal data is Tulipano di Giulia Valsecchi (hereinafter also the “Data Controller”).

Purpose of Processing

Personal Data will be used by the Controller for the following purposes:

a) acknowledge contact requests via the form on the Site;

b) send newsletters and/or promotional communications by mail/post;

(c) manage reservation requests and the related administrative and fiscal fulfilments.

The Site processes users' browsing data by means of cookies, as further outlined in the relevant cookie policy.

Legal basis for processing 

The processing of Personal Data is necessary in order to respond to your contact request and manage bookings; your consent is required for the processing of data for the purpose of sending newsletters and/or promotional communications by mail/post.

Disclosure of data to third parties 

Personal Data will only be disclosed to:

  • third-party companies that provide services related to the Controller's business and with which specific agreements have been signed pursuant to the GDPR;
  • subjects to whom the communication of your Personal Data is necessary or is otherwise functional for the above-mentioned purposes.

Data retention period

Personal Data collected for the purpose of sending newsletters and/or promotional communications will be retained until your consent is revoked. Personal Data collected through contact forms will be deleted after 12 months.

Rights of the data subject

You may, at any time and where applicable, exercise the following rights:

  1. Access: requesting confirmation from the Controller as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed;
  2. Copy: request a copy of the personal data being processed from the Controller;
  3. Rectification and supplementation: request the rectification of inaccurate personal data and the supplementation of incomplete personal data, including by providing a supplementary declaration;
  4. Deletion: request the Data Controller to delete personal data concerning you if one of the reasons provided for in the GDPR applies;
  5. Limitation: request the Data Controller to limit processing when one of the cases provided for by the GDPR occurs;
  6. Objection: You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your data in the cases provided for in Article 21 of the GDPR. 7)
  7. Portability: You have the right, if the conditions set out in Article 20 of the GDPR are met, to receive in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format the personal data concerning you provided to the Controller;
